XtraTAP: Modular Packet Brokers from Garland
Garland Technology’s portfolio has undergone significant changes recently. New product families have appeared in the portfolio, which we are now presenting individually in a four-part article series. In the first part, we discuss XtraTAP packet brokers.
Visibility starts with the packet. A network TAP (test access point) is a hardware device that allows you to access and monitor your network traffic by copying packets without impacting or compromising network integrity.
The XtraTAP: Packer Brokers are purpose-built active network TAPs that support filtering, tap ‘breakout,’ aggregation, bypass and regeneration/SPAN modes guaranteeing your tools see every bit, byte, and packet. Common XtraTAP Features • Provide 100% full duplex traffic visibility
