The RelNet eLearning team launched a questionnaire to gather user feedback for improving its learning platform. Based on the 46 responses received — a sample considered representative — we can say that our users are very satisfied with the content quality of the eLearning platform, while also expecting further developments in the technical and promotional areas.
We are continuously working to ensure that the eLearning platform, launched in September 2020, provides useful knowledge as well as an enjoyable and efficient learning experience. Therefore, the feedback received is of great value to us. Below is a summary of the key takeaways.
The majority of respondents (18 out of 46) first heard about the RelNet eLearning platform through colleagues or acquaintances — though we are pleased to see that it is also a prominent topic at our events:

Most users only use the eLearning platform occasionally (52.2%) or a few times a month (43.5%). Increasing the popularity of the platform and boosting user activity has therefore become a clear priority:

The most common motivation for using the platform was professional knowledge development and the opportunity to collect points. Overall, users engage with the platform mainly due to the quality of the course content (87%), the availability of rewards for earned points (78.3%), and the enjoyable learning process (67.4%):

Out of the 46 respondents, 45 rated the content quality as either “good” (65.2%) or “excellent” (32.6%):

Most found the quizzes “challenging but appropriate” (58.7%), while 37% considered the difficulty level to be “average.” The wording of the test questions also received positive feedback: 45 respondents found them “mostly clear” (58.7%) or “entirely clear” (39.1%):

According to 27 users (58.7%), the interface is “good and easy to use,” while 28.3% of them rated the user experience as “excellent.” However, 6 respondents also noted some issues:

Although 45 out of 46 respondents were aware of the possibility of redeeming collected points, only 15 had used the option so far, while 30 had not yet redeemed their points through the RelNet eLearning catalog:

Answers to the question “What topics would you like to see in the future on the eLearning platform?” clearly show that:
- Security and network security are key areas of interest.
- There is significant demand for training related to well-known vendors and tools (e.g., Cisco, ManageEngine, Fortinet).
- Automated and AI-driven solutions, as well as cloud-based systems (e.g., Kubernetes), are receiving increasing attention.
- There is a strong expectation for deeper technical content and up-to-date technology coverage.
Based on the responses to “Is there any new feature or service that would improve your eLearning experience?”, users clearly value the eLearning system, but identified the technical experience (e.g., audio quality, platform speed) and functionality (e.g., content filtering, subtitles, feedback) as areas for improvement.
In response to the question “What would be needed for more people to use the RelNet eLearning platform more frequently?”, the following key points were raised:
- Some users miss broader technological topics beyond networking (e.g., DevSecOps, software development, AI).
- There is a need for regular email notifications about new courses.
- Gamification and more targeted promotions: beyond point-earning campaigns, competitive or vendor-specific challenges could be motivating.
- Beginner-friendly, entry-level courses could help engage users who are interested but less experienced.
Finally, users provided the following specific suggestions and comments:
- More frequent updates to the reward catalog.
- Refinement and expansion of the mentorship program.
- Improvements to the user interface to make it more user-friendly.
- Multiple respondents praised the useful content and the dedicated work of the RelNet team.
Summary
The RelNet eLearning platform is viewed positively overall: it features high-quality content, well-designed quizzes, and an easy-to-use interface. However, the platform’s occasional usage patterns, underutilized features, and unredeemed points indicate that further efforts are needed in the areas of engagement, communication, and feature development to boost user activity.
We thank everyone who completed our eLearning questionnaire. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve the platform and continue delivering a high-quality training experience to our partners in the future.
