New Year, New Colleague in the RelNet Team
At the beginning of January 2022, a new colleague, Tamás Szabó joined the RelNet team. Tamás’ primary task is to further strengthen existing vendor partnerships and integrate new vendors into RelNet’s portfolio. In addition, he will play a key role in RelNet becoming a significant regional distributor.

Originally an electrical engineer, he worked as a system administrator at the beginning of his career, and a few years later he got into commerce where he finally remained. Over the past 20 years, he has gathered experience in companies dealing with software development and enterprise management systems, but has also tried his hand in the fields of uninterruptible power supply, airport power supply, and industrial data communications (IoT).
For the last 10 years of his career, he has worked for multinational companies, among others in the hardware business of IBM Hungary, being responsible for the domestic sales of Power and Mainframe servers. After that, he joined T-Systems Hungary. During his years at T-Systems, he worked in various fields, initially in complex projects, primarily in the financial and healthcare sectors, and later gained nearly two years of experience in international projects, before being entrusted with leading the company’s partner management. He started performance hiking five years ago, which he gradually replaced with cross-country and ultra-running. He has also run complete marathons on asphalt twice. His goal is to complete the 210km lap around Lake Balaton within cutoff time. RelNet actively helps its skilled and independent employees to achieve greater creativity, continuous learning, innovation and the exchange of professional knowledge. We consciously strive to organize in-house trainings and self-training programs for our employees, as well as follow-up exams and certifications, by devoting 30 percent of our engineer’s working hours to their professional development. Furthermore, we appoint experienced engineering colleagues to our young colleagues as personal mentors, who take care of their professional development.
